What is Green Circle?

Green Circle is the world’s first sustainable salon solution dedicated to recycling, recovering, and repurposing beauty waste from salons and spas. They offer a comprehensive program that ensures hair, foils, color tubes, plastics, papers, chemicals, and PPE get diverted out of our waste and water streams.

Why is this important?

Did you know the beauty industry sends 877 pounds of waste to the landfill every single minute?

Because hair, metals, and chemical residue cannot be treated by most municipalities, salon waste can end up in our landfills and waterways. At Avanti, we divert 95% of our waste so it is properly recycled and then repurposed. 

Each time you pay us a visit, you're supporting a cleaner, greener beauty industry. Every foil, color can, glove, and even lock of hair has a purpose! 

What are these boxes?

You may notice these boxes around the salon & spa during your next visit! They each serve as a specific recycling container for plastics, metals, paper, PPE, and more. Once they're filled up, our partners at Green Circle take them away to repurpose them in a multitude of ways to keep our planet beautiful!

With your help, we can make a major difference for our community and our planet! A small eco-fee of $2 will be automatically added to appointment at check out. This enables us to ship out most of the waste created during your appointment (even your hair!) so that it can be recycled, re-purposed, disposed of properly.
